Lindsay Mullan is a born and raised Alberta girl, growing up in both Edmonton and Calgary. From early on she knew that she was meant to be a performer and began acting at the age of 11. While completing the Performing Visual Arts Program at Central Memorial High School, Lindsay developed a passion for improvised theatre at the Loose Moose Theatre Company. It was here that she trained in improvisation under Dennis Cahill and many other seasoned improv instructors and performers. Lindsay honed her skills while learning the ins and outs of Keith Johnstone improv theory. Over the course of 5 years she performed and taught with the company on a weekly basis. During this time, Lindsay also earned her Theatre Arts Diploma in Acting from Mount Royal University.
Lindsay began collaborating and creating new works straight out of school. She took on directing, hosting, and even clowning. This eventually led her to the Canadian Fringe Festival circuit where she has become a regular fixture each year. In early 2011, Lindsay created and filmed her online talk show, Between The Sheets With Lindsay. The show allowed Lindsay to find her footing in front of the camera and soon ignited her interest in film.
After performing in multiple theatrical productions with Alberta Theatre Projects, Backyard Spaceship, The Distinctly Average Duo, and The Shakespeare Company, Lindsay decided to seek new artistic challenges. In October of 2011 she moved from Calgary to Toronto and began working in film and television. Since moving to Toronto, Lindsay has shot a number of commercials and more recently, pilots for both DisneyXD and YTV. In 2014 Lindsay began performing regularly on the Second City Toronto stage as a member of the National Touring Company. During the summer of 2015 Lindsay toured and performed in Rebecca Northan's hit improvised clown show Blind Date. Lindsay continues to work on her improvisation with The Bad Dog Theatre Company as both a performer and instructor.
